i'm birthday boy
yesterday i woke up around 10:30am and spent the first hour of my day doing what i do best, messing around on social media. there is an upside to my chronic social media usage though, i finally caved and sent a message to miau's official account about the app not being available in the usa and how i was going to lose access to it when the web version closed, and they replied basically immediately that they'd sent a request and that the app should be available in the usa soon! i'm so happy and i can't believe one quick message is all it took, i should have done that days ago x3 i've been using miau for a little over a week now and i truly love it there, it feels much more chill and smaller than a typical social media site like twitter (which i really need to spend less time on...) and has the added benefit of being a place for me to practice my portuguese with people who speak it as a first language. i was honestly devastated over the idea of losing access to it, so i'm overjoyed that i won't! oh, a slightly related update, i added elu/delu to my pronouns >_< i've always exclusively used ele/dele in portuguese despite using he/it/she in english, the thought of being referred to with ela/dela just makes me uncomfortable for some reason; if i had to guess, it's because portuguese is a gendered language and it feels much easier to disconnect she/her from the feminine gender than it does to do the same with ela/dela. but i've been really wanting to have a gender nuetral pronoun for myself in portuguese as well like i have it/its in english, so i finally added elu/delu to my portuguese pronouns :3
anyway, i ate lunch around noon and had the last corn dog with the last grape poppi T^T i watched some youtube while i ate and then decided to finally jump back into pixel cat's end adventuring since i hadn't done one since candlelight ended (i may have burnt myself out during candlelight just a little bit). i watched about half of davis morgan's new video while i adventured, and then got in bed for a bit to read. i'm now up to 61% of anatomy of an alibi, i am enjoying it but the taking a break really messed me up a bit when there's so many characters to remember and the timeline jumps back and forth T^T i laid down for a bit when i was done reading, intending to take a nap, but i didn't end up getting any sleep. precious laid on top of me and i took these silly pictures of her, she was completely sprawled out x3 i didn't want to move her but i eventually did because i really wanted to get up.
after getting up, i decided to do what i planned to do days ago and start running a few of my tamagotchis; i went with my paradise and the gen2 a friend sent me a while ago that i've yet to run before yesterday. i'm not going for any specific tamas, just taking as best care of them as i can and seeing what they turn out to be! the best care options are meowtchi, mametchi, leopatchi, or furawatchi on the paradise depending on which young i get, i'd really like meowtchi so i might cheese it just a little bit and make sure i get the roar young x3 and for the gen2 the best care tama is i believe mimitchi, who is one of my favorite tamagotchi characters, so i'd love to get her, but we'll see since i'm not the best at getting perfect care tamas for the gen1 and gen2 >_<
my mom came home not long after i got the tamagotchis running so we could head to church. church went pretty well this week, and i'm glad since the service went about fifteen minutes over the usual time it ends... we only had three kids and they were pretty well behaved, and they spent about half the class time entertaining themselves by playing a game x3 on the way home i got taco bell for dinner and my grandma got the same thing i got, i'll have to ask her today if she liked it. when we got home, i ate my burrito and watched a youtube video, then mostly just sat around for a while and went to bed around midnight.
something i forgot to mention in my last post, i made a tumblr blog specifically for posting littlest pet shop! the url is lpscraft and it currently only has a few posts but i'm enjoying it so far :3 i've been very into lps recently if that's not obvious from my last few posts, and i didn't want to flood my main blog or my plushies blog too much with lps content, so lpscraft was born. i honestly have way too many tumblr blogs but i can't get myself to delete any of them >_< i have my main which is for basically everything fandom related plus general yapping, my alterhuman blog, my plushies blog, my age regression blog, my very dead nsfw blog (hashtag just asexual things), my blog for archiving english dub dialogue in enigma of fear which is also very dead because i haven't touched the game since march and never finished the playthrough for it, an ask blog that's... also a little dead, my petz blog, and now lpscraft. literally who needs nine tumblr blogs besides a crazy person. oh, and i haven't opened petz since july so that blog is currently a bit dead as well. eventually i'll get back into it...
good morning, today is my birthday! i woke up at about 10am and took a shower then cut my nails, and that brings us to now at 10:30am! last night i did a few things for my birthday; i changing my twitter and miau layouts to put a silly birthday hat on my profile pictures, and i opened a few pixel cat's end business cards and bought some little custom accessories to put on precious for the day since she's still my avatar cat. i think she looks adorable T^T one of my business card cats was very aptly named gift, which i think is cute as well :3
i don't really have any plans for the day besides dinner at my grandparents' tonight. i think right now i'm going to do something i thought about last night, which is going through all my older littlest pet shops and looking them up on ebay sold listings to see if any of them are particularly valuable. do i plan to sell any of them? not really. but i'm just curious if i have any that are worth something :3c update, i didn't get through all of them but i did make sure i got all of the cats and dogs; as expected, most of them aren't worth more than 10$, though a few have sold for as much as 30-50$... great dane #817, shorthair #1023, and dachshund #518 are the ones i looked up that were on the more valuable side. honestly, i'm considering trying my hand at trading, especially for pets i have doubles of.
i ended up looking at littlest pet shops for... much longer than i meant to >_< i'll probably make a wishlist sometime soon and maybe very hesitantly attempt trading! after i finally closed the lpsmerch website, i made a baked potato for lunch and watched some youtube while i ate. i think i'm going to adopt the webkinz codes i've been holding onto from a sale months ago today, but right now the servers are down so we'll see if i end up being able to do that. i have a colorblock monkey i'm going to name pixel, an earthly fox i'm going to name ivy, and a floral fawn i'm going to name violet. i may also buy myself another pet or two since i have about 22.5k estore points stocked up.
it's now 1:30pm and i don't really know what to do with myself... i considered playing minecraft, but my computer has been running the fan all day without opening heavily modded minecraft, so maybe i'll wait until tonight to attempt that x3
update, i ended up getting in bed with the intention of taking a nap, but i never got any sleep T^T it's now 3:30pm and i think i'm going to play minecraft afterall! i think i'm going to just decorate my house in creative... so, the internet went out halfway through me writing this paragraph and i never came back to finish it after it came back on x3 because the internet was out, i ended up reading instead of playing minecraft. which is good because i read a few chapters and then my mom came home and it was time to go to my grandparents' for dinner. dinner was homemade pizza, mine had mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, and jalapeños on it and it was so, so good *^* the cake was orange flavored cake with orange flavored frosting, and it was just as good as i thought it would be :3
even though i didn't do a whole lot and the only gift i got was a bottle of root beer (in reference to an inside joke), i had a pretty good day. tomorrow we're going to get the minecraft crumbl cookies! i'm excited, and hopefully we can do a little bit of shopping too so i can get at least one real birthday gift before monday >_< i've recently discovered mirrormi dolls, which are maybe the prettiest playline fashion dolls i've ever seen. i've never really owned dolls outside of plush dolls or the rarely played with barbies i had as a kid, but as a teenager and adult i've grown an interest in fashion dolls despite not owning any; i couldn't tell you how many times i've been super close to buying myself an american girl doll or monster high doll, it's actually shocking i still don't own any. all that to say, if i see a mirrormi doll in store... she's absolutely coming home with me. the doll i want the most (shai) is exclusive to target unfortunately, which i don't believe there is one where we're going tomorrow, but i honestly like the entire doll line and would gladly get any of the others if we ended up at walmart and they had them. i guess we'll see!
anyway, i'm currently waiting for my phone to charge and then i'm going to bed. while i wait i'm just going to watch some youtube. goodnight <3
