i finished oneshot :3

leafkinzyesterday i ended up doing a whole lot of nothing T^T first, i went to bed at about 5:30am, then i had to get up at 10am so i could sit in the living room and wait for my dad's package that required a signature... long story short, i sat around waiting for the package to arrive for a total of seven hours, and it didn't end up requiring a signature after all. in fact, they couldn't even bring it down to leave it on the porch and dumped it at the top of the driveway ;3; so 99% of my day was spent sitting on the living room sofa and watching random youtube videos on the tv while staring at my phone alongside it, and that was about it. i did have rose buldak for lunch around 12:30pm and took a short nap around 2pm, but otherwise i literally just sat and waited for a package i never had to wait for, after barely getting any sleep. not a very fun day to say the least T^T
backtracking to yesterday night, i successfully finished and 100% oneshot! it's such a good game, i really loved it :3 i followed a walkthrough on my second run since i was mostly just playing to get the second ending and the achievements i missed, and it's almost laughable how much less time it took than my first run x3 i thought the ending where the entity shuts you out of the game and the author leads you to the room where you return the sun was super, super cool! i also thought it was cool how the game acknowledges that you're replaying, especially with niko remembering things like the player's name. i wish more games utilized things like computer files outside the game, you don't see that much but it's such a cool mechanic and makes the game feel so much more immersive. i think i mentioned this in my last post, but i'd also like to play more games that acknowledge the player as an outside source. however, we are in a media literacy deficit at the moment and judging by how many deltarune fans apparently think the player is kris despite it being practically spoonfed to them that that's not the case, maybe we don't need more games like that...
anyway, after the package finally arrived and my mom got home yesterday, i decided i desperately needed an actual nap before dinner. i slept until 8pm before getting up for dinner and i honestly felt horrible T^T not sick really, just... bleh. but we had tortilla soup for dinner and watched nation's dumbest while we ate. i think i could've won this episode... i got all the true or false questions except one and i knew all the acronyms, and most of the final exam questions. too bad i'm not a celebrity or i'd go on the show x3
after dinner i showed my mom some tiktoks i'd liked just for her, then it was about 10:30pm when i went back to my room. since i had slept for around two hours and only woke up a couple hours before, i decided to not go to bed yet and instead play oneshot's solstice chapter! the solstice chapter i believe was added around a year after the game's release, and goes more in depth with the lore and characters, which i was very interested in since i really enjoyed the game. the solstice chapter was... so much more emotional and sad than i expected ;3; i felt so bad that i couldn't talk to niko outside of when the game gave me the option to, i wanted to explain everything to them at the beginning so bad T^T poor sweet baby, i'm so glad the solstice ending exists so i could give niko and all the other characters a good ending, i'm very happy with this ending even if it made me sad along the way <3 this game really is so good and i can't believe it took me until ten years after its release to play it!
it was about 1am when i was done playing, so i decided to let my phone charge and then go to bed. i basically just scrolled through social media while i waited, something else i did yesterday was delete twitter, tumblr, and reddit off my phone to hopefully keep me from doomscrolling so badly. we'll see how long it lasts; i'm not really doing it in an effort to stop using my phone or social media altogether, i just get sucked into the endless scroll so easily, especially lately on twitter. i'll probably let myself use the mobile site to access them, as i'm much less likely to get sucked into that scroll outside of the app, but we'll see >_<
today i somehow managed to sleep until almost 2pm... granted, i did wake up around 10:30am and go back to bed after feeding the pets and taking the dog out, so i guess it's not that shocking... either way, i slept my whole day away after already not doing much of anything yesterday. this might be yet another super boring blog post.
after finally getting out of bed, i started by checking my social media on the computer since i'd deleted it from my phone. i responded to the few comments and dms i had before finally adding the last few fanlistings i joined to my website. i'm officially a part of fifteen different fanlistings ^-^ hopefully now that i've joined fanlistings and webrings my website is easier for people to discover and it gets a bit more traffic than it was before. it's far from the fanciest or prettiest thing in the world, but i really love my website so much and i would never go back to before i had one! i absolutely recommend having a personal website to everyone, it's so worth it and i think my site is proof enough that if you really commit to it you can overcome the learning curve it takes to make one when you're new to coding :3
it's now almost 3pm, i'm going to eat lunch and then take a shower because we have my great aunt's birthday party tonight :3 for lunch i'm having leftover tortilla soup, with red white and blue flavored popz to drink and cookie dough bites for dessert :p the tortilla soup this time isn't quite as good as it usually is, it's usually one of my favorite foods but it doesn't have enough chili powder and is a bit too tomato flavored this time ;3; popz is basically the aldi version of poppi or olipop, the red white and blue flavor tastes just like a melted bomb pop popsicle x3 and the cookie dough bites are of course very good because cookie dough is always good!
something i've really been thinking about doing lately is making a youtube video. i've been wanting to try out beta minecraft and i think making a little video out of it sounds like a lot of fun :3 but i don't usually like recording my own voice and i know absolutely nothing about video editing, so it would be a big step out of my comfort zone with a learning curve on top of that, so i'm hesitant to do it... i'm always saying i wish i recorded myself playing video games so i had documentation of my reactions to different things, maybe i need to just bite the bullet and try it, and if i don't like it oh well >_< it sounds really fun and i would mainly be doing it for myself and maybe my friends. i have attempted twitch streaming before and that was pretty fun when i did that even though i only did a few streams; even though you do have to edit the videos and upload them, youtube seems a little easier and less stressful since i don't have to 1. rely on having friends available to moderate my chat and 2. keep talking the entire time which i am very bad at. i think my dad is on his way home right now, but maybe next time he goes out of town for work and i have ample time home alone i'll try out recording a video playing beta minecraft and see how it goes :3
it's 4:30pm now, the birthday party is at 6pm so i'm not sure what to do with myself until i have to get ready in less than two hours... now that i've finished all three video games i bought last week i feel like i have nothing to do x3 maybe when i get home tonight i'll either jump back into minecraft finally or start achievement hunting endacopia. i also need to replay papers please for the last achievement in that game, i think that's what i'm going to start right now ^-^
just got home from the party at 9pm! it was a nice party, and the cake was so good *^* it was a homemade vanilla cake and i had it with strawberry ice cream ^-^ i think now that i'm home i'm going to continue my papers please replay and hopefully finish it? and depending on how long that takes i may or may not pick up endacopia as well. i'll probably be up pretty late since i slept in so late today, so why not x3 i'm going to go ahead and post this now, i really need to get back into adding more photos to my blog posts... but that's a little hard when i don't leave the house at all for a week T^T anyway, goodnight!
